about

"Red Velvet Werewolf" is a compilation of the first two albums released by The Little Black Bottles, "Werewolf of Moncton" and "Let Them Eat Red Velvet Cake", as well as the single "Baby".

Werewolf of Moncton
The first release from North Bend, WA's The Little Black Bottles, "The Werewolf of Moncton EP" includes two of the full band's songs, as well as three earlier songs recorded by Jackie and Myke. The subject matter covers the horror/scifi subject matter that the band has become known for.

Let Them Eat Red Velvet Cake
Over two years in the making, Let Them Eat Red Velvet Cake delves deeper into the topics that The Little Black Bottles are known for exploring. The band started recording the album as a two-piece, then were joined by Jamie Thompson on bass. Jamie soon moved to drums and Joy Wood stepped into the bass role. In the fall of 2010, the band decided to scrap the existing tracks and retrack from scratch with the new lineup. Shortly after finishing tracking, Jamie and Joy left the band, leaving Myke and Jackie the only memebers once again. The songs on this release represent the band's 4-piece lineup from 2010 and was recorded, produced and mixed by the band in a cold basement in the wee hours of the night.
